I had a dream, or was it a nightmare?

I have an idea. Why stop at $878,000,000,000? Why not spend $10,000,000,000,000. That's $10 trillion? I mean, if the government spends $10 trillion, every American can get a check for $30,000. Just think how much personal debt that could wipe out? You know, everyone can have a new car or something. In fact, while we're at it, let's make it $100 trillion. That would give every American $300,000. That's every American. So a family of four would receive $1,200,000,000. Why not make every family a millionaire? I think that's a great idea.

What?

What do you mean where will the money come from?

From the same place all government money comes. The same place we're getting the $878 billion. They'll make more? Right? Isn't that how money is made? Doesn't government just make money?

Are you serious? Money comes from taxpayers only? Well, why don't they make more so the government can have more and can give more to everybody? That makes sense to me.

After all, those taxpayers already have enough. They don't need more.

I think I just had a nightmare. Maybe it's not a nightmare. I feel awake.

What the Elections Tell Me

Whether your candidate won or lost, the future is still there, and it is still yours.

For me, I've decided not to give the politicians my power or my soul. Here is what I mean by that. I expect nothing from politicians, I want nothing from politicians other than to be protected and then left alone.

Those you cannot trust with certain things, will never disappoint you. I don't trust politicians with my success, happiness or future. In that sense, I'm not terribly disappointed or overly jubilant today. Indeed, it was a grueling, exhausting political season. The longest, most expensive and nastiest in memory. Now that it's over, it is time to celebrate and enjoy:

1. Peace and quiet on the airwaves (no negative, destructive political messages)
2. No excuse for anger and hate

The brightness and promise of my future rests upon my willingness to pursue my dreams and my inspiration. This I promise to do. And my happiness comes full circle when my sculptures touch someone's heart and soul and brings a smile to their face, and lifts their spirit.

I invite you to seek your heart and reach deep for those dreams, and follow them as well.

Prophetically speaking, America is fulfilling its destiny. This is not alarming, but reassuring in a way. But that's for another blog entry.

I'm MAD as . . . .

Since when have Americans depended on self-serving, greedy politicians and pessimistic elitist journalists for answers to economic problems? The notion that politicians can solve what they caused in the first place is just beyond preposterous. The notion that elitist media types whose vested interest is bad news even care, is downright outrageous. Moochers all.

We know all creativity, productivity, breakthroughs, and achievements, are birthed with great effort on the part of individuals, entrepreneurs, visionaries, dreamers and achievers.

Waiting for someone else to solve what can't be solved is doomsday scenario for certain.

Instead, I invite you to work, create, invent, produce, celebrate accomplishment, and let the "dead bury their dead." This miraculous country was NOT built on programs, bailouts, and central planning. And the moochers will never change their tune or their habits. They are incapable of understanding what it means to be the energy and the engine of expansion and creativity. The best we can do is keep their powers in check, and keep them on the sidelines. Their current encroachment is unprecedented, but hopefully reversible.

In an effort to do my part, and for those who read and agree with these sentiments, I would like to offer my new sculpture, "Power of Thought" at a special price. Please follow the link and enter the word "celebrate" in the coupon field during the checkout process.
